Otis Elevator Korea (President and CEO Kenneth Mahler, www.otis.co.kr, hereinafter referred to as Otis Elevator) will continue to be honored as an Excellent Elevator Maintenance Company for the ninth consecutive year. Since the program was introduced in 2005, Otis Elevator has been recognized for its consistent excellence in the 'Excellent Elevator Maintenance Quality Company' audit organized by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, having been selected as a maintenance quality company in the first audit in 2006, the second in 2009, and the third consecutive this year.

According to the company, Otis Elevator is the only major company in Korea that has been selected as an excellent maintenance quality company for three consecutive times since 2006.

The judging criteria included 74 items, including satisfaction with maintenance quality, securing maintenance quality and customer safety, site safety management, and material management, and judges visited each of Otis Elevator's sites in Seoul, Daegu, Daejeon, Gwangju, and Busan, and scored them according to a strict procedure, and a committee of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety made the final decision.

Last year, Otis Elevator became the first company in the domestic elevator industry to exceed 100,000 elevator maintenance units.
