Hyundai Elevators plans to change its business structure
Hyundai Elevators announced their overseas marketing plan. Hyundai Elevators will secure 5% of China and East Asian market by 2003. Annual sales shall rise U$800million by 2005. Their business sector shall be expanded to the advanced technology. Thus the elevators business will not be a core business by 2005. It includes the changes of major business strategy by pulling down of elevator sales to 50% or less where currently keeps 70% of total annual sales. Overseas product sources will be shared with more production scope. Their planned business sectors will be expaned to logistics, parking facility, PSD, service and maintenance sectors by 2003. Engineers will be dispatched to Shanghai facory to assist them in improving quality and price competitiveness. New installation volume in China and East Asia amounts to 50,000 units reaching U$2billion. |
