Hyundai Elevator Signs 'Ilsil Village' Sisterhood Agreement with Sonyang County, Yangyang Province

Since 1997, Hyundai Elevator has been utilizing its tax deduction fund and matching grant fund as a scholarship fund for the needy, and has been actively engaged in various social contribution activities such as various volunteer and donation activities and campaigns related to elevator safety. On the other hand, on the 18th of last month, the company announced that it received an order for 56 escalators to be installed in the subway of Milan City in northern Italy, marking its first export to Europe. The site is scheduled to start installation work from this September and will be operational by the end of 2014, and Hyundai Elevator has overcome the barriers to entry for multinational companies by satisfying the demanding European standards based on its experience in many overseas installations.
